Unifest prepares for 2012!!

The streets of Lauderdale Lakes, FL will come alive once again with the pulsating sights and sounds of the Caribbean during the 18th Annual Unifest Celebration, Sunday May 20, 2012. We look forward to all the festivities, performances and patrons who will take part in celebrating the 50th Independence of Jamaica and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago!

Unifest Live is presented annually by the Greater Caribbean Cultural Coalition(GCACC). Live Caribbean music and entertainment, cultural displays, a mini carnival street parade, kids zone, arts & crafts booths, health and business expo, Island food and more are always the focus of the festival. Our goal each year is to provide educational scholarship to deserving students of Caribbean heritage from the community, while at the same time providing dynamic, educational and culturally diverse entertainment.
