The streets of Lauderdale Lakes came alive with the pulsating sights and sounds of the Caribbean during the 17th Annual Unifest Celebration, Sunday May 22, 2011. Thanks to all the entertainers and patrons who came out, and all our sponsors for another unforgettable event! The 2012 Festival will take place on Sunday May 20, 2012.
Unifest Live is presented annually by the City of Lauderdale Lakes and the Greater Caribbean Cultural Coalition(GCACCoalition). Live Caribbean music and entertainment, cultural displays, a mini carnival street parade, arts & crafts booths, food and more are always the focus of the festival. Our goal each year is to provide educational sponsorship to deserving students of the community while at the same time providing dynamic, educational and culturally diverse entertainment.
